Tobias Harris: 'No place' for fan who threw popcorn at Russ originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Sixers took command of their first-round playoff series Wednesday night with a second consecutive win over the Wizards, but there wasn't much room for celebration after one of their fans threw popcorn at Russell Westbrook

Westbrook and the Wizards were upset about it, players like LeBron James expressed their desire for serious change with the way the league deals with unruly fans. Count Sixers forward Tobias Harris as another player condemning that kind of behavior.

"I didn't like it at all," Harris said on TikiAndTierney. "To take it to that level, it's disrespectful and there's no place in our sport for that."

The Sixers responded to the incident by taking away the fan's season tickets and banning him from Wells Fargo Center indefinitely. While that one fan's decision-making was inexcusable, Harris hopes it'll never happen again.

"We hope something like that, going forward, never happens again," Harris said. "We understand that fans are back in the arena and excited, but there's a line that shouldn't be crossed. This moment and what happened with Trae Young... Don't cross that line."

The Wizards will now host the Sixers for the next two games as they try to get back in the series. Game 3 is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday.
