The Tennessee Titans will be one of at least five teams taking part in the NFL’s 2023 International Games, the league announced on Thursday.
The Titans, along with the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, will play a game in London, while the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots will head to Germany to play theirs.
The exact dates, times and opponents for the contests have not been set, but Jim Wyatt of Titans Online reports that the opponent will be from Tennessee’s home portion of its 2023 slate.
The Titans’ game will take place in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This also means Tennessee will be losing one of its home games, of which they had nine.
The possible opponents include the Titans’ three AFC South rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks.
The Titans last played in London in 2018, but that game took place at Wembley Stadium. Tennessee lost the contest to the Chargers, 20-19.
