Fueled by a nine run bottom of the third inning, Morton-White Pass put the game away for good as it picked up a fourth consecutive C2BL win, this one an 18-8 verdict over Onalaska on Thursday night.

Trailing 7-6 entering the half-inning, MWP (4-11, 4-10 C2BL) loaded the bases with one out and tied the game on an RBI fielder's choice, then took the lead behind an RBI single off the bat of Kris Elliott, who finished with three RBIs and three stolen bases. Jake Flathers capped the game-breaking frame with a two-run base hit.

The Timberwolves plated two more runs in the fourth and another in the fifth to enact the run-rule. They erased an early 5-0 deficit with a five-spot in the first and took the lead in the second, 6-5. Three different hitters recorded two runs batted in.

Onalaska (1-16, 0-14) jumped out of the gate with five in the first. Its first five batters notched hits, including a two-run single by Jacob Meiss and a run-scoring double by Rowdy Lyons. Those two combined for five hits while Beau Bond drove in two.

"I thought we hit well," Onalaska head coach Weylin Womack said. "I feel like we've taken a step in the right direction. We're starting to come around (and) we can see it."

MWP will face Kalama in a league doubleheader on Monday while the Loggers will host Toledo for two league contests also on Monday.
