But there’s now a tool that makes cleaning up facial hair trimmings quick and easy. Mat’s Beard Bar is a small antimicrobial sponge attracts beard trimmings. Just dampen the sponge, wipe up the hair and rinse off the residue. It’s really that simple.
The product was created and patented by a guy named Mat, who was fed up with the constant mess after shaving — just like the rest of us.
“Like most of you I’ve seen way too many beard trimmings in bathrooms, so I want to figure out a way to solve it,” Mat says in his bio. “I tried talking to my roommate and after realizing toilet paper isn’t going to do the trick, I tried to buy something online. But to my surprise, nothing existed! So I decided to make my ideal product.”

Mat’s Beard Bar went viral on TikTok in November 2020, and the product has been selling like hotcakes since.
“Works great! Keeps my sink squeaky clean!” one reviewer said. “My husband loves his beard bar — I think I may even [love it] more,” adds another.
