After a three-game homestand, the Oklahoma City Thunder are hitting the road for five games. The trip begins Saturday against the Orlando Magic.

It will be the Thunder’s fifth game in seven days. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander only had eight points in the New Year’s Eve game against the New Orleans Pelicans; he’ll look to right the ship and help OKC get to a 2-3 record on the year.

Here are the details of how to watch:

Opponent: Orlando Magic
Date and time: Jan. 2, 6 p.m. CT
How to watch: FOX Sports Oklahoma
Radio station: WWLS 98.1FM OKC

Last matchup

The Magic beat the Thunder by 11 on Tuesday in a game that OKC kept close until the final quarter. Orlando center Nikola Vucevic went off for 28 points with usual Thunder starter Al Horford out of the lineup. Horford will play on Saturday, as will George Hill, who also missed the first game against the Magic. This will give the Thunder a chance to test themselves at full strength against Orlando. Forward Isaiah Roby scored 19 points against the Magic in the last game, the first start of his career.

Magic's season

Orlando was the final undefeated team this season before falling to the Philadelphia 76ers on New Year's Eve. They'll try to start up a new streak against the Thunder. The Magic dominated the Thunder in the paint last outing by scoring 72 points down low. It wasn't just Vucevic; Dwayne Bacon went 9-for-10 in the game with all nine of his made baskets coming in the painted area. Yet they're 10th in the league in points in the paint per game, and that's with that outburst. OKC will have to do a better job guarding down low to get its second win of the season.
