Texas WR Adonai Mitchell is expected to enter NFL draft

With much anticipation surrounding his decision, Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell is expected to enter the 2024 NFL draft.

Mitchell transferred to Texas last season after being a part of two National Championships with the Georgia Bulldogs. He was known for his playmaking abilities in big-time games.

The junior lead all receivers on the Longhorns with 11 touchdowns and also had a career-high in receiving yards with 845. He accomplished this whilst sharing the field with fellow NFL-caliber pass catchers such as Xavier Worthy, Ja’Tavion Sanders, and Jordan Whittington.

He was one of the most impactful transfer portal additions for Steve Sarkisian in his three-year tenure so far. Sarkisian has shown his ability to not go for the number of players in the portal, but the quality.

Mitchell has been projected to be taken off of the board in the first or second round of the 2024 NFL draft.
