Second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian certainly strengthened Texas’ roster this offseason.

The Longhorns landed several talented playmakers on the offensive side of the ball: Quinn Ewers, Isaiah Neyor, Jahleel Billingsley, Agiye Hall and Tarique Milton. On the defensive side, Texas snagged Ryan Watts and Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey at positions of need.

On top of the many transfer portal additions, Texas also welcomed the No. 5 recruiting class for the 2022 cycle to campus this summer. Many true freshman are expected to compete for playing time immediately.

It’s shaping up to be one of the most talented rosters Texas has had in quite some time. Now, the players will have to prove their worth and produce on the field at a high level.

College Football News recently ranked the top 10 players on Texas’ roster ahead of the 2022 season. The top four names will come as no surprise, and a player or two on the bottom half of the list could arguably be swapped out.

Here’s a look at CFN’s top players on Texas’ roster right now.
