Texas Tech's Zhaire Smith completes spectacular 360 alley-oop dunk

If you’ve never seen a 360 alley-oop dunk completed in a game, you have now thanks to Texas Tech guard Zhaire Smith.

After Tech senior Keenan Evans picked up a steal near mid-court during his team’s NCAA tournament matchup against Stephen F. Austin, he immediately looked up-court and found Smith streaking toward the basket. This was the spectacular result:

Smith’s body control on the play was pretty unbelievable. Here are a few other angles of the freshman’s fantastic finish, which is something you usually only see in a dunk contest:

The Evans-to-Smith connection gave the Red Raiders their first lead of the first half after the Lumberjacks, the No. 14 seed in the East region, jumped out on No. 3 Tech early.

Texas Tech still had to rally late to get by the 14th-seeded Lumberjacks, but it closed strong for a 70-60 win.
