Texas football suffered their fourth consecutive loss in Week 10, marking the longest losing streak for the program since 2010.

While the Longhorns were at least competitive in their losses to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Baylor, the Iowa State loss was a different story. After Texas held a 7-3 lead at half time, the Cyclones took control of the game in the second half and dominated their way to a 30-7 blowout win.

There are gaping holes on this roster that must be addressed via the transfer portal and recruiting trail this offseason. Five losses is understandably cause for concern, but Steve Sarkisian and his staff will need time to bring in their players in order to build a winning program.

There weren’t many bright spots in Texas’ loss to Iowa State other than the punting performance of Cameron Dicker. The Longhorns struggled on both sides of the ball in the second half, and it’s a story that has become all-too-familiar for Texas fans this season.

As far as PFF grades from the Texas-Iowa State game, the top performer on offense was right guard Tope Imade, while cornerback Jahdae Barron held that honor on the defensive side. Take a look at which Longhorns graded well, and which ones were on the wrong end of the curve.
