The Texas Longhorns baseball team made the trip to face the East Carolina Pirates in the 2022 NCAA Tournament Greenville Super Regional, which is a best-of-three series that starts Friday, June 10.

East Carolina came into the super regional 45-19 overall. Most recently, ECU defeated Coastal Carolina 13-4 on Monday to capture the Greenville Regional championship.

Texas, also, entered the series 45-19 overall. On Sunday, Texas beat Air Force 10-1 to win the Austin Regional title.

Friday's game is the first meeting between the Texas Longhorns and ECU Pirates baseball programs.

• Home plate: Travis Reininger

• First base: David Uyl

• Second base: Ramon Armedariz

• Third base: Craig Barron
