It’s no secret that Texas will be hitting the recruiting trail hard for blue-chip offensive lineman over the next few cycles.

It’s one of the weakest position groups on the team, and their underwhelming play was key factor in each of the four losses this season. Fortunately for the Longhorns, two highly rated offensive lineman that could instantly bolster Kyle Flood’s group will be on campus this month.

Nick Harris of Horns247 reported that Kam Dewberry and Devon Campbell will be in Austin for an official visit on Nov. 13 when Texas hosts Kansas.

Dewberry is rated the No. 3 interior offensive lineman for the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 13 overall prospect in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4, 313-pound versatile lineman started at right tackle as a junior for Atascocita High School. Ohio State is emerging as the favorite in his recruitment.

Campbell has been considered a must-get recruit for the Longhorns for quite some time now, and they’re in great position to land him. The five-star interior offensive lineman is rated the No. 1 player at his position for the 2022 class and the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Texas.

Each of these players have the ability to step in and receive immediate playing time once they arrive on campus. Now, Steve Sarkisian and his staff must make a lasting impression on Nov. 13 to close the deal.
