Texas A&M DT suspended after allegedly pointing gun at people

Texas A&M defensive tackle Zaycoven Henderson has been suspended by the team after his arrest on multiple charges Sunday morning.

According to KBTX.com, Henderson and another man allegedly pointed a gun at people at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday. They also allegedly threatened to kill people. The defensive tackle has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession.

Henderson was reportedly arrested with the other man leaving an apartment complex where the incidents allegedly took place. Police said they found a rifle hidden in the woods that matched the witnesses’ description of the gun.

The senior has 35 tackles including five tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Texas A&M, 7-5, plays Wake Forest in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 29.
