Texans are latest team to announce alternate helmet

Arizona Cardinals fans have been waiting for years for new uniforms. The team has added the black alternate and the black and red Color Rush jersey but a good portion of fans want a refresh, or at least a new helmet, something to get excited about for the appearance the players have on the field.

Not long ago, one of their 2022 opponents, the Atlanta Falcons, announced a red alternate helmet.

The Houston Texans recently announced an alternate helmet, also red.

The Cardinals will not face the Texans this coming season, but wouldn’t red alternate helmets, or even black ones, be fire for the Cardinals?

Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill said new uniforms were on the horizon but would not give a timeframe.

So while Cardinals fans must wait, they can watch other teams make changes and hope the changes that come are as cool as the ones some teams are getting.
