Tennessee Titans acquire safety Tyree Gillespie in trade with Las Vegas Raiders
The Tennessee Titans will acquire safety Tyree Gillespie in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Aaron Wilson first announced the trade Tuesday, stating that the fourth-round 2021 draft pick is headed to Tennessee. The Raiders will receive a future conditional late-round draft pick in the deal, sources confirmed to The Tennessean.
Gillespie played four years at Missouri and appeared in 41 games with 11 starts. He was selected in the fourth round, 143rd overall by the Raiders in the 2021 draft.
He appeared in 11 games with Las Vegas and saw only 15 defensive snaps before primarily appearing on special teams. Gillespie recorded eight total tackles in his rookie season with six stops on special teams.
