Tennessee’s all-time record in Thursday games

Tennessee will open its 2021 season on Sept. 2 against Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee’s matchup with Bowling Green will be the Vols’ 54th game played on a Thursday in program history.

The Vols are 26-20-7 in contests played on a Thursday.

Tennessee has played in six games on a Thursday since its Jan. 1, 1953 matchup against Texas in the Cotton Bowl.
