Tennessee will receive its bowl bid today, and there are a few possibilities in a crowded SEC field of a record 13 bowl-eligible teams in the league.
The top SEC teams will go to the College Football Playoff, Sugar Bowl, a New Year’s Six bowl as an at-large and the Citrus Bowl.
After that, Tennessee (7-5) will get a bid within a pool of six bowls that choose from the remaining teams – Outback (Tampa), Gator (Jacksonville), Music City (Nashville), Duke’s Mayo (Charlotte), Texas (Houston), Liberty (Memphis).
