Tee Higgins again stresses he wants to get extension done with Bengals

Earlier this year after the season ended, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins made it very clear he hopes he’ll be with the team for a long time.

In fact, he’s done that publicly at pretty much every turn and that includes this week.

Appearing on Pat McAfee’s show, Higgins said the following about his future in Cincinnati and commented on Duke Tobin’s funny quote about telling other teams to get their own Tee Higgins: “It was good to hear him say that. Made me feel like they want me here. Hopefully we can get a deal done…The Bengals have always made me feel like they want me here and hopefully we can get a deal done.”

The day before this show, Bengals brass confirmed they want to do extensions for Tee Higgins and Logan Wilson too, not just quarterback Joe Burrow.

Easier said than done, but all signs still point to the Bengals doing everything they can to retain all of the weapons around Burrow and that Higgins 100 percent wants to stick long-term.
