KENDALL COYNE SCHOFIELD: I would describe our rivalry with Canada as a fierce one. It's no surprise that the last few Olympic Games' finals have been against them. We've played them a lot. But I would describe it as a fierce one, a loyal one, and one that you don't have to mark that game on your calendar twice for.

HILARY KNIGHT: I think we bring out the best sheer competitiveness in one another, and obviously, it helps when you have millions of fans rallying behind you to have that battle going. But it's one of those games that it just-- you live and breathe it, and it's a wonderful rivalry. And I think I've called it before one of the most beautiful rivalries in sport.

LEE STCKLEIN: I would definitely say it's an intense rivalry, probably one of the greatest of all time. It's a game we're always looking forward to. You're always, like Kendall said, you don't need much encouragement to get ready to go and play Canada. A lot of history there. A lot of respect. But at the end of the day, it's always a battle.

ABBY ROQUE: I would just say it's one of the most heated rivalries. If you are competitive enough to get to this point in your career on either side of the country, US or Canada, I think we're all pretty competitive people, so you get on the ice and it's all out. And I think that's what makes it so great, is that you want to do everything you can in your power to win that game, because it is so important every single time you match up. Whether it's the Olympics or just an exhibition.

BRIANNA DECKER: It brings out the most competitiveness out of every single one of us. But it's a fun rivalry to be a part of. Definitely don't take it for granted. So anytime we can put on our jersey, and they put on theirs, we look forward to it.
