Taylor Swift honors boyfriend Travis Kelce in ’87’ puffer coat at freezing Kansas City Chiefs game

Taylor Swift swathed herself in an original No. 87 puffer jacket to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce as his Kansas City Chiefs faced the Miami Dolphins in one of the coldest playoff games in NFL history.

The pop star’s arrival at colder-than-ice Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City caused a stir on social media as video of her walking through a stadium tunnel brought attention to the custom jacket, designed by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

“Say what you want, that jacket Taylor Swift is wearing goes crazy!!!” wrote NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho, in a post to X.

But the fashion choice was also extremely necessary in the Midwestern winter chill, as the temperature at Arrowhead Stadium was -4 degrees at kickoff. — fourth-coldest kickoff temperature in the history of the NFL.

The wind chill was even colder at -27 degrees, according to the Chiefs’ communications team. It was so cold on the field that at one point during the game, a big hit cracked open Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ helmet.

Swift was in good spirits despite the wintry weather. She cheered for Kelce in her suite after one of his catches, and the game was pretty much dominated by the Chiefs, who dominated the game and won 26-7.

Swift was photographed leaning over the suite walls and high-fiving the fans directly below her.

Swift watched the game next to Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, and Brittany Mahomes, who it turns out also owns a custom-made jacket — No. 15, for her husband Patrick.

“An honor of a lifetime!!!!! Thank you @taylorswift & @brittanylynne,” Juszczyk, the jackets’ designer, wrote on Instagram.
