Taylor Jones reminisces about why she chose Oregon State WBB originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest
On the latest Talkin’ Beavers Podcast, host Ron Callan caught up with Oregon State Women’s Basketball sophomore forward Taylor Jones.
Jones, who attended Dallas Christian High School in Mesquite, Texas, reminisced over her decision to play for Coach Scott Rueck and begin her legacy in Corvallis.
She explained how one particular Elite 8 game that was played on Mar. 28, 2016 was very important.
‘That game’ was a 60-57 victory to send Oregon State to the WBB Final Four for the first time in program history. The Beavers were led by Sydney Wiese’s 18 points. OSU would fall to the eventual Champs, the UCONN Huskies that year.
