Park “TANK” Danwon, mid laner for Snake eSports since 2016 Spring, has left the roster to join recently-qualified League of Legends Secondary Pro League team, Young Glory, according to Snake’s weibo.

Young Glory were relegated from the LSPL in 2016, but have re-qualified through the City of Heroes tournament. As Korean players are not allowed to participate in the City of Heroes LSPL qualification tournament, Young Glory qualified for the LSPL with a roster of all Chinese players. TANK’s addition marks the first Korean player to join the new YG roster.

TANK joined Snake as starting mid laner for the 2016 season. He played for the team for a year and much of 2017 Spring. Snake eSports found stability with a roster that included Chinese mid laner Liu “Zzitai” Zhihao and Korean AD carry, Oh “Ohq” Gyumin, so they made arrangements for TANK and Chinese AD carry Tan “Martin” Qi to join new teams. Both will play in the LSPL, as Martin has joined newly relegated LPL team, Vici Gaming.

Snake eSports just barely evaded relegation by beating out Vici Gaming in the LPL Promotion Tournament.
