Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos scored as his team beat the Dallas Stars 5-2 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on September 23. The win puts the Lightning one up in the series.
Stamkos, who has been out of action for seven months with a series of injuries, made a triumphant return with his first-period goal in a near-deserted Rogers Arena in Edmonton. The 30-year-old skated for less than three minutes in the first period.
