Tale of the Tape: Leading Rushers – Logan Diggs vs. TreVeyon Henderson

·1 min read

Much like the battle of the quarterbacks, the leading rusher battle between Notre Dame and Ohio State is rather lopsided. Of the returning Irish running backs, logan diggs has a slight edge over Chris Tyree, but those numbers aren’t very high. That’s because both of them have been living in the shadow of Kyren Williams, whose departure to the NFL will allow them to finally have the production they came to South Bend for. This first game might not be the best time for it to happen, but it will be a start.

The Buckeyes are returning a powerful running force in TreVeyon Henderson. While most of the attention understandably will be given to C.J. Stroud, Henderson can be just as potent. He also has done a good job receiving passes, which should scare any opponent. This definitely will be a game in which experience gives him an advantage, at least going in.
