Living and working in a small bubble can be both good and bad, depending on the situation. It’s tough being able to remain only in one spot without any family or outside basketball friends.
But it can also be fun and at times educational. That’s how some members of the Boston Celtics are approaching their stay at Disney World in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The result is heartwarming content.
Celtics help Fall learn how to swim
The two help hold Fall up in the water while he kicks his legs and moves his arms forward. It might be as much of a workout for them as it is for the 24-year-old star.
Fall continues swim lessons
Fall never learned how to swim even though his home in Dakar, Senegal, was right near the water. When the former University of Central Florida standout joined the Celtics the team’s Vice President of Public Relations Heather Walker, who used to work as a lifeguard, committed to teaching Fall how to swim.
In November 2019, Fall attended swimming lessons with the kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s Charlestown Club, via WBUR.
