New Summerfield's Karlee Andrade scores 12 points in latest JC game

Feb. 15—LUFKIN — Karlee Andrade, a true freshman from New Summerfield, had her most productive game of the season as a Jacksonville College Lady Jaguar Wednesday evening against the best team in Region XIV, Angelina College.

Andrade scored 12 points, came up with six rebounds and added four assists in the Lady Jaguars' 93-54 loss to the Lady 'Runners (17-7, 9-1).

JC (2-19, 0-10) trailed 20-13 after one quarter of play and was never able to recover.

Mattie Burns dropped in 14 points and grabbed four rebounds for JC while Grace Okih scored a dozen points and rounded up seven boards.

The Lady Jags will host Coastal Bend College at 2 p.m. Saturday, which is also homecoming at JC.
