Summer workouts begin for CU men’s basketball

Monday marked the start of summer workouts for the Buffaloes men’s basketball team. Colorado is looking to rebound after a down year and these workouts are the first chance for the entire team to get down to business.

The Buffaloes bring back a mostly intact roster following the news of Tristan da Silva returning for his senior season. Plus, they’re also welcoming in freshman five-star forward Cody Williams and TCU transfer Eddie Lampkin Jr.

The wildcard on the roster is, of course, the vacant scholarship spot that still exists. But as of now, head coach Tad Boyle is unsure if the team will even use that opening (h/t Pat Rooney of BuffZone):

“We may fill it, we may not fill it,” Boyle told BuffZone. “I don’t know the answer to that.”
