Summer League: Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga continue to impress on the way to win vs. Thunder, 94-84

After a win over the Toronto Raptors in the Las Vegas edition of the summer league, the Golden State Warriors met the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Thomas and Mack Center in the desert.

With the chance to build a three-game winning streak, Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga helped push the Warriors to a comeback victory over the Thunder. After trailing late into the fourth quarter, Golden State cracked off a late run to seal a 94-84 victory over Oklahoma City.

Six different Warriors notched double-figure scoring efforts, including both of Golden State’s first-round picks from the 2021 draft. Moody tallied a team-high 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field with three rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes. The Arkansas product showed off his shooting range, hitting three triples on eight attempts from long distance.

Kuminga continued his impressive summer league run with 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the floor with seven boards and two assists in 26 minutes. Kuminga provided another highlight-reel moment with a vicious one-handed dunk after an explosive crossover.
