Capcom has revealed that more characters will be added to Street Fighter V in 2017. The developer announced the news at PlayStation Experience today, alongside a trailer showcasing upcoming DLC character Akuma.

Players can pre-order the 2017 character pass, which grants access to Akuma upon his release, as well as five “completely new characters.” Not much is known about the new characters, with Capcom showing just a single slide with silhouettes.

Akuma was first teased at Red Bull Battle Grounds in November. He is playable at PlayStation Experience, which runs across this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center.

It wasn’t just new Street Fighter content that Capcom revealed at PSX. The company officially announced Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite at the keynote. Capcom will be showing gameplay footage at the Capcom Cup finals. Yahoo Esports is in attendance at PlayStation Experience and Capcom Cup 2016, so stay tuned to the site for more updates as they break.
