Don’t expect Stone Cold Steve Austin to crack open a cold one any time soon. The WWE legend revealed he has given up alcohol as part of a new health regimen, according to the New York Post.

Austin delivered the news during an episode of his podcast. The 53-year-old said he had been sober for 14 days, and was feeling great.

“My eating program is going fantastic. [I’m] sticking to my exact macros. [I’ve had] zero alcohol for right at 14 days now,” he said.

“Pounds are coming off. My strength is going up. Jesus Christ, I’m getting as strong as a g—— horse over here.”

During his time in WWE, Austin was famous for chugging two beers in the ring. When his hands weren’t full of beer cans, they were usually flipping the double bird in the direction of WWE CEO Vince McMahon. In the rare instances he wasn’t doing either of those things, he was likely pulling off his signature move, the Stone Cold stunner, on a hapless opponent.

Austin has another former wrestler to thank for his transformation. He gave up beer as part of Diamond Dallas Page’s yoga program. Austin was complimentary of the program on his podcast, boasting that he felt like he could do the splits.

Austin also spoke about trying medical marijuana, but said it was never his vice of choice.

Since retiring from in-ring matches in 2003, Austin has still made occasional appearances at WWE shows. His next appearance is almost sure to include a stunner, but the beer chugging is no longer a guarantee.
