To wrap up the Thanksgiving weekend, the Stockton Kings and G League Ignite met Sunday afternoon, Nov. 28, in the first of back-to-back games at Stockton Arena.
The Kings returned home after playing their last two games on the road and were looking to extend their three-game win streak. The Kings jumped out to a 17-point first-half 17 point lead but ended up losing 114-111.
The Kings suffered some of the same issues shown in a home loss earlier this season: a big third quarter by their opponent and inconsistent defense. There was also foul trouble by center Neemias Queta, who ended up sitting much of the game.
The two teams were scheduled to play again on Monday, Nov. 29, at Stockton Arena.
