Stock Up on These 10 Asian Foods Available at Costco

Costco has embraced some seriously delicious Asian goods in recent years – the 25lb bag of rice used to be the only Asian essential I could pick up at Costco.

Nowadays, I browse the aisles and can always seem to find a new yummy Asian treat that I have to try. I love that Costco is making a real effort to introduce Asian foods to new markets and making them accessible for everyone.
In the spirit of AAPI Heritage month, I’d like to share a few of my favorite Asian foods you need to pick up at your local Costco.

Please note that most items below are in-store only unless otherwise noted and availability will vary by location.

Pulmone Tonkotsu Miso Ramen with Chashu Pork

I could not resist when I first laid my eyes on this tonkotsu miso ramen package by Pulmone. Prepackaged ramen can be a hit or a miss, but this one was definitely a hit. The broth is extremely flavorful and it’s a huge plus that it came with chashu pork.

I found this in the fridge aisle so keep your eyes peeled next time you go. It’s not always available, but I highly recommend picking it up if you do find it!

JoJoen Japanese Style Salad Dressing

JoJoen is a famous yakiniku barbecue restaurant in Japan and Costco now carries their original salad dressing. Although I’m not fond  of salad or raw veggies,  I can still appreciate this dressing. It is full of umami and actually makes salads taste so much more appetizing.

Mayura Cuisine Tikka Masala Sauce

I have been making a variety of curries lately. It takes a bit of time but making a giant pot that will last a few days is worth it.

Lately, I’ve discovered this delectable Tikka Masala sauce that cuts my cooking time down to only about 10 minutes! Just cook your protein, add this sauce, and pour it over rice.

Kirkland Beef Bulgogi

I don’t always have time to make Korean barbecue, so I love picking up a pack of Costco’s beef bulgogi. The meat is perfectly marinated and ready to cook! Easy!

Imuraya Yawa Mochi Matcha Frozen Dessert Cup

This is my favorite dessert at Costco, hands down, although it seems to be seasonal. If you do find this in the freezer aisle, I wholly recommend you picking it up. These little cups of green tea ice cream are topped with sweet red bean paste and chewy Japanese mochi–an absolute delight!

Tropical Fields Boba Milk Tea Mochi

Boba is all the craze right now and, if you can’t get enough of it, I highly recommend these little mochi boba snacks. Chewy and sweet, these treats are a little taste of boba that you can bring anywhere on the go!

Tropical Fields Doriyaki Redbean Pancakes

I wouldn’t have expected Costco to offer Japanese doriyaki snacks but I’m so glad they do! These fluffy pancakes are stuffed with redbean paste. They’re not too sweet and make for a nice afternoon treat.

Irvins Salted Egg Salmon Skin Snack

Costco has recently stocked up on Irvins Salted Egg Salmon Skin Snacks. These delicious Singaporean snacks have been popping up everywhere and I am so glad you can get them at Costco now, too. You have to try these savory crispy snacks, but be warned they are addictively good!

Golden Nest Premium Swallow Nest Beverage

I was amazed to find that Costco offers this Chinese herbal delicacy. The traditional drink is made with real swallow bird nest (which is actually solidified bird saliva). When turned into a drink, it becomes a jelly texture similar to bubble tea with pudding.

It may initially sound gross, but the drink is actually really sweet and has a variety of health benefits including boosting the immune system. I definitely recommend trying this, it tastes like sweet jelly!

Azuma Seaweed Salad

I love seaweed salad and always ask for a double scoop of seaweed salad anytime I’m at a poke restaurant. When I look to buy it though, it’s usually quite expensive for even a small box.

Costco comes in clutch with its great deal on 28 oz Azuma Seaweed Salad. I get twice as much for what I’d usually pay for at my local Asian market, and the flavor is just as you’d expect. As an added bonus, this product can also be found on Costco online.
