Stephen A. Smith: Ben Simmons is ‘ready to go’ for Nets in 2022-23

Brooklyn Nets playmaking guard-forward combo Ben Simmons had a long offseason to recover and sports personality Stephen A. Smith has a positive reaction to Simmons’ recovery.

Smith appeared on “The Rich Eisen Show” and reacted to the entire Brooklyn situation. Smith had some interesting takes on Simmons:

I spoke to him privately, he convinced me that his problems were very, very real… But he’s convinced me that he’s ready to go this season.

First of all, I want to applaud the Brooklyn Nets for finally doing something right as an organization.

Simmons was traded to the Nets towards the end of last season, where he has been nursing injuries for his tenure as of yet. He’s looking to hang with Brooklyn’s starting five, even if it means he has to learn to play the center position.

Simmons appears to be firing on all cylinders as the regular season continues to rapidly approach.
