Steph ties Kobe, joins elite Finals company in brilliant Game 4 originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Steph Curry is a whole different beast in the postseason, and his Game 4 performance in the NBA Finals on Friday proved just that.

Curry finished with a game-high 43 points in the Warriors' incredible 107-97 win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

The Warriors superstar became the 11th player in NBA history to score 30 points or more in at least 50 playoff games.

Friday’s Game 4 against the Celtics marked his 13th career 30-point game in the Finals, matching Kobe Bryant for the eighth-most in Finals history.

And his brilliance on the court goes beyond his scoring.

With four assists in the win, Curry also moved up to 11th on the all-time NBA Finals assist list, surpassing the great Larry Bird.

The Warriors will look to keep their postseason going as long as possible and get their fourth championship in eight years.
