Steph, Bazemore Facetime after veteran forward joins Warriors originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
Steph Curry and Kent Bazemore were thick as thieves during their roughly season-and-a-half together with the Warriors, and now that the latter has reunited with the organization that first gave him a chance in the NBA, Steph was quick to reach out to his newest teammate.

Bazemore and Curry remained close friends off-the-court as Bazemore spent time playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and most recently with the Kings.
Back in April, Bazemore and Curry teamed up for a virtual golf simulator challenge with the NBA season on pause due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Old Dominion product went undrafted in 2012 and joined the Warriors in the Las Vegas Summer League, eventually making the roster and playing 105 games for Golden State. Bazemore didn't play much, but became well-known among Dub Nation for his emphatic bench celebrations.
A skilled defender, Bazemore provides an affordable 3-and-D option off the bench for the Warriors who has familiarity with Curry. Especially after Klay Thompson's recent Achilles injury that is expected to sideline him for the rest of the season, Bazemore could find himself getting major minutes at the wing alongside Kelly Oubre and Andrew Wiggins next season.
