Time is running out for the Pittsburgh Steelers to turn things around before the playoffs. This week the Steelers square off with the 10-4 Indianapolis Colts in their last home game of the regular season. A win and they win the AFC North but their performance of the last month doesn’t inspire confidence.

Here are the things we are most concerned with early in the week.

The Colts are what the Steelers were

If Steelers fans want a gauge for what Pittsburgh will be getting with the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, go back and watch the Steelers play early in the season. The Colts don't make mistakes, have a balance on offense and a smothering defense apt to making splash plays. Sound familiar?

At this point, I'm just not sure how much the Steelers have in the tank mentally. They lost their get right game against the Bengals and have looked like a dejected squad over the last month. At this point, I'm not sure where the motivation will come from and if there are players ready to step up and inspire the team.

The consequences of a loss

If the Steelers can't get past the Colts, they set themselves for a de facto AFC North championship game against the Cleveland Browns in the final game of the season. On the road. The Steelers have endured a season of no breaks already and losing to their bye week, the last thing this team needs is to lose to the Colts and have to try and get up for one more game before the playoffs even start.
