Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth OUT with knee injury
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth went down with a knee injury in the middle of the fourth quarter and the team has already announced that he is out for the remainder of the game. The fact that this news came so fast doesn’t bode well for the severity of the injury.
Freiermuth has a very quiet game versus the Freiermuth but had been a big part of the offense this season. With Freiermuth out, rookie Connor Heyward has stepped up with a pair of big catches on the following drive. Freiermuth has 63 catches for second-best on the team.
