Steelers HC Mike Tomlin among those at Alabama pro day

No college football team produces as much NFL talent as the University of Alabama. This is why at their pro day every year, the league comes out to check them out ahead of the 2023 NFL draft. According to NFL reporter Albert Breer, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was among multiple head coaches who turned out on Thursday.

Here are the top NFL draft prospects from the Crimson Tide this year:

EDGE – Will Anderson Jr.

S – Brian Branch

QB – Bryce Young

RB – Jahmyr Gibbs

S – Jordan Battle

CB – Eli Ricks

LB – Henry To’oTo’o

DL – Byron Young

OT – Tyler Steen

G – Emil Ekiyor Jr.

DL – DJ Dale

TE – Cameron Latu

S – DeMarcco Hellams

This list is littered with prospects the Steelers could use. Alabama has three quality safeties and in light of the fact Terrell Edmunds said his public goodbye to the team and the fans on Thursday, one of them is an option. Same for offensive tackle Tyler Steen and defensive tackle Byron Young. Either of them would be an excellent late-day two option.
