Steelers GM Kevin Colbert scouting QBs Thursday night

Quarterback will be a top offseason need for the Pittsburgh Steelers whether it is in free agency or through the draft. Pittsburgh continues to do its due diligence with the 2022 NFL draft class in terms of college scouting. The Steelers had representatives at Liberty vs Ole Miss to scout Malik Willis and Matt Corral and now general manager Kevin Colbert will attend Pittsburgh vs North Carolina on Thursday night to check out two more.

North Carolina has Sam Howell who opened the season as one of the top prospects in the upcoming draft but an inconsistent season has pushed him back to the second round. Meanwhile, Pitt’s Kenny Pickett is the hottest prospect in the entire draft and has gained national attention with his season. Of the two, Pickett feels like he’s much more NFL ready while Howell has shown a better set of skills when he’s on his game.

Which player would you rather have? Pickett in the first round or Howell in the second? Let us know in the comments below.
