During the Golden State Warriors’ recent three-game losing streak on the road, James Wiseman hit a rough stretch during his rookie campaign. The second overall pick from the 2020 NBA draft failed to tally double figures in points or rebounds in three consecutive games.

On Golden State’s three-game road swing, Wiseman averaged 7.0 points on 36% from the floor with 4.7 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per contest. Along with struggling to make an impact as a scorer and on the glass, Wiseman turned it over 2.7 times per game.

In the Warriors’ return to Chase Center against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, the 20-year-old bounced back. Wiseman tallied 13 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the floor with 10 boards for the third double-double of his young career.

On his way to 13 points, Wiseman slammed down a flurry of powerful dunks.

Along with a bevy of emphatic dunks, Wiseman protected the rim with an explosive block against the Bucks. With Bryn Forbes driving to the bucket, Wiseman cleaned the glass with an impressive block.

After getting back on track against the Bucks, Wiseman could use his double-double effort as something to build on during Golden State’s crucial stretch run to the postseason.
