Following a surprise loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, the Golden State Warriors needed someone to rise alongside Steph Curry to get back into the win column.
On Monday against the Orlando Magic, Andrew Wiggins answered the bell. Wiggins followed Curry’s game-high 31 points with an impressive performance of his own.
On the way to a 126-95 victory over the Magic, the former No. 1 overall pick notched 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field with three rebounds, three assists and three steals in 30 minutes. After getting hot from beyond the arc, Wiggins helped fuel Golden State’s blowout win over Orlando.
Wiggins set a new career-high from deep with eight triples on 10 attempts from long distance.

The 26-year-old has hit three or more 3-pointers in eight different games for Golden State this season.
Wiggins will have the chance to build on his stellar shooting performance on Wednesday when the Warriors host the Portland Trail Blazers before closing a three-game homestand at Chase Center in San Francisco.
