According to investigators, a 22-year-old man from Sanford was westbound on State Road 44 in a Nissan Altima when he crossed over the center line and into the eastbound lanes.

Troopers say the Altima sideswiped an eastbound Honda Accord before colliding head-on with a pickup truck that was also headed eastbound.
