Stanford's Malcolm Moore named 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Freshman of the Year
Stanford's Malcolm Moore has been named the 2023 Pac-12 Baseball Freshman of the Year. Moore started all 51 games for the 2023 Champions in his first season on The Farm and quickly became one of the top offensive threats in the league with a .300 batting average and was the top freshman in the Pac-12 in homers (12) and RBIs (12). His 14 multi-RBI games ranks second on the team behind only Alberto Rios, while his 19 multi-hit games is sixth-best among the Cardinal hitters. Moore will put his nine-game winning streak on the line when Stanford's postseason run begins this week in Scottsdale.
