The college football season doesn’t start for another eight months, but it’s never too early to look ahead to the next Heisman race.

Bovada released its early odds for the 2018 Heisman and Stanford running back Bryce Love, the 2017 runner-up, unsurprisingly leads the way as the early favorite at 7/1. Another running back, Wisconsin sophomore Jonathan Taylor, is behind Love at 8/1. Taylor, who broke Adrian Peterson’s freshman rushing record in 2017, finished sixth in the Heisman voting last season.

Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate is third at 9/1 while Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama’s national championship hero, is fourth at 10/1 despite never starting a game in his career.

Another quarterback, UCF’s McKenzie Milton, is down the list at 18/1. Milton finished eighth in the 2017 Heisman voting.
