Count Thomas Booker as one of the nine draft picks enthused to play for the Houston Texans.

The former Stanford defensive lineman posted three images to his Twitter Monday morning of him wearing his Texans draft cap while decked out in a suit and tie. Booker had an ear-to-ear smile as he showed support for his new team.

“Woke up a Texan,” Booker tweeted. “WHAT’S GOOD H-TOWN?! Let’s work.”

The Texans selected Booker with the 150th overall pick in Round 5 of the 2022 NFL draft. The 6-4, 310-pound defensive lineman generated 59 combined tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack in his final season at Stanford.
