HowWith only five games left on the regular season schedule, each game carries significant weight for the Golden State Warriors as the race for playoff seeding heats up in the Western Conference. 

Coming off a much-needed comeback victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night, the Warriors will continue their three-game homestand with a contest against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night at San Francisco’s Chase Center. 

On Tuesday, the Warriors came back after trailing by 17 points at halftime behind a fiery 39-point performance from Steph Curry. With a 40-37 record, the Warriors are gripping to the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. 

Heading into Friday’s contest in the Bay Area, the Spurs are riding a five-game losing streak. The Spurs begin to look towards the NBA draft lottery, San Antonio is 2-8 in their last 10 games.
