In 1986, Spike Lee’s feature-length film She’s Gotta Have It was released, launching the director’s career. Now, a release date has been set for a new Netflix series by the same name, based on that movie and also directed by Lee. “She’s Gotta Have It” stars DeWanda Wise, Cleo Anthony, Jamie Overstreet, and more, and will be released Thanksgiving Day. It marks Lee’s first TV series. Check out a new teaser trailer for the show below. Last year, Lee released a new documentary on Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson's Journey From Motown to Off the Wall, to coincide with the reissue of Jackson’s classic album.
