Spencer Dinwiddie is making waves again on social media. Dinwiddie weighed in on a “what if” Nets-Lakers Finals series. Both Brooklyn and Los Angeles were favorites to meet on the main stage. However, injuries kept both squads from reaching their true potential. Although it’s unfortunate, it’s still scary to think about what these teams could have achieved if they did this year.

Dinwiddie responded to a tweet creating a “no injury” scenario this season. The tweet also hinted at the NBA Finals being played between the Lakers and the Nets. The 28-year-old replied saying, “Nets in 4.”

Clearly Dinwiddie will be a free agent this offseason. There’s no guarantee that he will return to Brooklyn for us to see the possibilities all the way through. The former Colorado guard made sure to address this point on his “Nets in 4” tweet:

“Lmao y’all act like I gotta bash last years roster cuz ima free agent now.”

Regardless of his free agent situation, Dinwiddie has made it clear of what he thought of the potential of the 2020-21 Brooklyn Nets roster. Long story short, he’s saying they would have been unstoppable if it weren’t for injuries.
