The New York Knicks and forward Troy Williams have agreed to a two-year contract, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Williams’ deal will be guaranteed for the remainder of this season and includes partial guarantees for next season, league sources said.
Williams, an athletic 6-foot-7 wing, has averaged 8.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game in eight appearances for the Knicks. His second 10-day contract with the team expired on Monday, and the Knicks worked with Williams’ agent, Stephen Pina, to finalize a deal to keep the 23-year-old from entering the offseason as a free agent.
