The Indiana Pacers have guaranteed forward Bojan Bogdanovic’s $10.5 million contract for the 2018-19 season, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Bogdanovic will enter the final year of the two-year contract he signed with the Pacers in 2017. He played a critical role for the Pacers last season, solidifying the team’s starting small forward position and averaging 14.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 80 games.

The Pacers had a Friday deadline to retain Bogdanovic and also are expected to guarantee guard Darren Collison’s deal for next season. The Pacers declined Lance Stephenson’s team option for next season to keep as much salary-cap flexibility as possible entering free agency Sunday. Indiana is expected to be a significant factor for a possible high-level wing addition, but still could re-sign Stephenson as the market takes shape.

Bogdanovic, 29, has played four NBA seasons with Indiana, Brooklyn and Washington. The 6-foot-8 sharpshooter has shot 37.8 percent from 3-point range for his career.
