The Brooklyn Nets are acquiring Dante Cunningham from the New Orleans Pelicans for guard Rashad Vaughn, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Vaughn, who was selected No. 17 overall out of UNLV in 2015, was traded to the Nets on Monday in a deal for center Tyler Zeller. In two-plus NBA seasons, Vaughn, 21, averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds while shooting 33.7 percent from the floor.

Cunningham, 30, is in his ninth NBA season and has had stints with the Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves before joining the Pelicans as a free agent in 2014. He has averaged six points and 3.8 rebounds in his career.
